I'm trying to copy files from a DVD +R to my hard disk and a few files cause
a cannot copy error which shows cyclic redundancy check as the cause.
Is there any way round this?

I have one computer with an OEM copy of XP Home, for my 2 sons.  One is VERY

I am new to WindowsXP. I tried to read a CD-RW from an older machine and

Since someone messed around with some settings on my PC I find that now
whenever you need to eg download Flash or something like that, rather than

I have recently done a clean install of windows xp. I have not yet

I just had to reinstall WinXP and I'm having a problem with one of my HD's.
I have 2 HDs, one primary and one slaved off that primary.  The install went

I have XP Home edition. When I login and type certain characters (example
"i") the system actually shows another character that I supposedly typed --
example "5"! So, I can not write anything since what I type is NOT what shows
on word or any other application! I have to re-booth ...
