I think I found the offending process... I ended something called Ypager ...
and the problem went away... for now at least :)... so any idea what this
Ypager thingy is?

Last Christmas I bought my wife an HP laptop and it works fine, except the
last few months it is very slow starting up. I have closed all background
programs (only essential programs) even tried in Safe Mode. I have optimised
with PC Pitstop, TweakNow RegCleaner Pro, Spybot S&D, ...

I am infected with the spyware coolwwwsearch.  I have used Ad-Aware, Spy
Sweeper, Spybot, and Symantec and each one has supposedly removed this
spyware but I keep getting pop ups and when I run the programs again they
find the same coolwwwsearch again.  What do I do to rid my ...

Please Help..  My husband was having problems on the computer & restored it.  
Now, any programs we have downloaded will not work. i.e. limewire, cdcloner,
etc. Also, now we can't even access the internet.
What can I do???

The black ink is out on my printer. Is there a way to force windows,
or any other app, to always by default print in color?
At least until I can get some $$$$ to buy another expensive

Please can somebody help me, i have just run zero spyware program and it
found two trojans, w32.krepper and also trojan_small Bl. I removed them but i
am not sure, i cannot find the removal tools on symantec and after running
Norton it has not found them. Is there anyway to find ...

I cannot start up System Restore. I have gone into the Services and when I
try to start it up from there the following happens:
Event Type: Error
Event Source: Service Control Manager

Two keyboards - same computer, though. When XP Pro loads, my function keys do
not work. They do work through bios, POST, etc. Keyboard type is US 101/102
key. This one is part of Microsoft wireless desktop 6000 (new today).
Previous was a Logitech Navigator.

After I watch a streaming movie file (not ra), I cannot find it in the
Temporary Internet Files. I used to be able to find it. Have I turned
off some feature that saves the files in my Temporary Internet Files

Hi all I have a laptop with windows xp home already loaded on to it - i was
given a recovery disk with it and since then i have got a virus i cant get
rid of - wot i normally do is just wipe it and start again but i cant find my
disk anywhere - is there a way of geting a new one ...

I trusted System Mechanic to clean up my registry and now I can't rea
anything on the screen!  It uses symbols for characters so it wors
than a foreign language.  I can't even locate System Restore.

Everytime I shutdown my computer I get explorer.exe not responding. So I
have to click end now to close it. I am running XP home with all the updates.
I have an up to date AV and checked my PC... no viruses.
