Since I used the feature add and remove programs and removed a bunch of
not used programs I have had problems with my Windows installer (3.1
v2).
When restartin the installer appears as a "preparing installation box"

I don't know what I did...but everything was fine before...
I have 3 computers...2 desktops and a laptop. Laptop/desktop2 has winxp
home, and desktop1 has winxp pro. Desktop 1 is connected by wire to the
router. Laptop/desktop2 are wireless.

my problem is that when I call .exe files downloaded from internet, I
have the message: "*.exe is not a win32 valid application". It happens
with all and only the files downloaded from internet.

I formatted the Seagate hard drive and proceeded to load the necessary files
from the xp home disk, after the required reboot I got this message "Windows
root\system32\hal.dll missing" and my system just hangs there.

I recently had a new motherboard & a dual core processor installed.  I
also went from 512MG Ram to 1 GB.  I can't see any improvement in speed
when doing things like rendering video ETC.

My keyboard will not work after I go into Safe Mode With Command Prompt.  I
get the cmd window in safe mode but the keyboard will not work.  I have to
manually restart.  It's a Dell 8400 Dimension desktop.  Windows XP Pro.
