Every time I try to backup Quicken (2005), the windows installer pops up and
wants to install the Quicken program.  I have to close and cancel it 3 to 4
time before it will stop.  HELP

The profile manager occassionally asks for a password when none is set for
that profile. And, where a password is set, the correct one does not work.
Only a reboot gets us back to normal. Anyone have any ideas? Thanks

I backed up some files on a second hard drive and then formatted and
reinstalled windows xp on the original drive. When I restore the files that i
backed up i cannot open them. I get a message "documents not accessible
Access denied." I suspect that it is because the old files ...

I just did a reinstall of Windows. None of my previously installed programs
are showing up when I go to the 'Start" menu or look in "Install/Uninstall
Programs" but when I look in 'My Computer' at the C: drive they are all

There are items shown to be in the recycle bin when I

Yesterday I was recording some family DVD's for a gift.  Everything was set
up properly and I was able to transfer the image to my TV and record.  Last
night I had an automatic microsoft update and today I can get my desktop to
appear on my TV screen but the DVD image does not.  ...
