I would be grateful if someone can help me solve this problem. After I have established a dial-up connection I have to wait some one to 2 minutes before outlook express or internet explorer starts. If I start the programs before I establish the connection all is well.

No mater what program I open to work with on my desktop, Windows Explorer ramps my CPU to 100%. And 75% of the time my Windows will freeze up. I have to then use Task Manager to get out of the program, and that takes 6 or better tries. I have done all the Virus scans, Spybot, ...

My XP "Help & Support" function does not work. The first time I tried it, it came up, but hung. Now, It doesn't even appear. Also, "Start/Programs/Accessories/System Tools/System Information" is also dead to the world. That never shows its face either.

I recently had xp home reinstalled on my p4/1.7, however I cannot seem to 'sent link/page via email from IE (it appears correctly set up in 'tools/options/programs'), nor can I send a file from windows explorer, to another directory/drive or media (floppy/cd/dvd).
