I have problems with this annoying message that keeps popping up an
won't go away. Even though I have no device connected in the USB port
keep getting 'USB Device not recognised'. If I go to properties on m
task bar and customise to always hide the message it just keep

Using XP home, sp2.
Found sfc.exe in C:\Windows\system32.
Tried clicking on it and a black screen flashes and goes away.
Tried SFC in the START/RUN box got the same thing.

Somehow my computer ended up with smitfraud-C., ad.oinadserver, and SpyAxe.
I have tried Spybot, adaware, and Microsoft Antispyware which didn't help
also I tried smitRem and that didn't work either.
Does anyone have any suggestions?

My computer audio will work for anywhere from ten minutes to a few hours and
then suddenly cut out. It is not tied to any pattern or process; it will cut
out even when there is no other activity. I can reboot and it will work
again for awhile.

The security center says my anti-virus program is out of date but the
manufacturer says my products are up to date. I am using McAfee. This problem

Has anyone had a pop-up called AltPayments.exe. It pops up on me once in a
while and i have no idea where it came from. What are the usual things
running in the task manager when no other programs are running? Anyone have
a list?

the above type involving a hidden folder named:{1BE1F766-5536-11D1-B726-
00C04FB926AF}.It says "The service cannot be started..." (I do not have the
hide files line checked). This entry in the viewer repeats ...
