having trouble accessing windows live messenger i keep getting error messages
80048820 and extended message 80048412 .When i try to switch on the windows
firewall it wont let me i also down loaded c a secruity centre anti virus

I get an error message whenever I reboot to say Windows - No Disk
There is no disk in the drive.Please insert a disk into drive . It is hard
to get rid of but eventually goes can anyone advise me what this is

Last week I asked for help with "Help and Support" system not working.

I  have a problem with time & date. I keep synchronizing with windows time,
but it keeps late. For example, now is 1:20 , 2 hours later it says it's 1:50!

When I start up my computer I have a wondows defender notice appear and it

I am having an intermittent problem shutting down applications; i.e. Excel
and Word.  On occasion I can't shut them down from within the application
and, when I try to do so using Task Manager, I fail.  The 'END PROGRAM NOW'

I had a hard disc failure and am using data recovery software to try and
transfer my old outlook express folders over to my new drive. Using explorer
I have located Outlook express but can't see any folder files. I believe they
are .dbx.

I have a directory under windows called "PCHEALTH".  It has several
subdirectores, one of which has a large series of files called
"CollectedData_nnnnn.xml".  Some of these files are pretty large and some
are pretty small and they are in a series going back to 2003.
