Yesterday my Windows search function was working fine.  This morning it
crashes, bringing Windows Explorer down with it. Saying yes to the error

after using system restore to return to an older version of software, the

I am trying to find the registry key that will tell windows not to
open a menu unless clicked on.  For example when I right click on a
file I may hove momentarily on "send to" which then calls on XP to
look on the HDD for all the information to display the "send to" menu

I have since had to reinstall my microsoft office 2003 and since then it
keeps starting chckdsk when I turn on the computer. I run Windows XP, sp2.
