Since I ONLY have 169 GB's of free space, it is hardly worthwile to compact, to save space.Every time I delete Recycle bin, I am afraid to loose my files that I want to save. There has to be some place in XP Serv. pack 2 where I can get rid of this very annoying thing, Thanks, ...

I went to back up my pictures on disk this morning and no matter what I try to do with my drive F it pops up a box that says like, F is not accessible Incorrect function...WHAT DO I DO??? btw...my comp lets me burn disks in F from I tunes so I dont get it?

I have a client whose XP box shows his mapped drive sizes as 1Gb with 8KB free. Removed mapped drives, remapped them, still same size. Folders are larger (34GB) and this is preventing him from saving to the file server.
