I'm hoping for some help on running a 16 bit program on XP.

I am experiencing problems accessing desk top.  I am being offered to open
Windows in several modes including safe mode and the last successful attempt.
Each time I try any of the options the system seems to re-boot itself and go

Ever since I upgraded from XP Home to Pro I've been plagued with a variety of
problems with a number of applications.
One problem is the inability to access Help and Support either via Start or
internal to some other windows.

Without changing the settings... somehow all of our windows, start menu,
icons, EVERYTHING is huge!  i've checked all through control panel, and the
icons are set to small, the font is set to small, the dpi is on normal... and
the text online is set to medium too.  ANY ideas on ...

Problem: Computer has random freezes.
When I look in Everest I see in the event log that just before every freeze
the last entry is:

I went to back up my pictures on disk this morning and no matter what I try
to do with my drive F it pops up  a box that says like, F is not accessible

I have a client whose XP box shows his mapped drive sizes as 1Gb with 8KB
free. Removed mapped drives, remapped them, still same size. Folders are
larger (34GB) and this is preventing him from saving to the file server.

I have a computer with XP Home currently installed on C: drive.  (I own both
the Pro and Home versions so there's no problem there.)
Here's the main problem.  A few years ago when Norton was on here there was
