I have just purchased Intel's S5000VSA server board with case. I have two SATA hard-drives (300GB ea). It will be simple file server for 4-5 computers, so we do not need server operating system.

Both are running XP Pro, the CD of which is in a 'safe place' (read misplaced). The old computer is just a box (no monitor, etc). I do have an unopened CD of XP Home which came with my third beast. I have tried to use F&T Wizard between the 2 pro computers but to no avail.

Recently I connected to the Internet for the 1st time and soon after automatic Windows update asked to update Service Pack 2. During the installation, error messages appeared about running out of memory. I have an emachine and the computer keep rebooting.

25-Mar-07 For years, I could click on a link in an e-mail message and be taken to the corresponding web page in a few seconds. Recently, when I click on a link, it takes ± 20 seconds to go from the e-mail message to the web page.
