why can't i copy and paste my resume from my documents to a job app.

I have a COMPAQ PRESARIO s5000nx desktop. Recently all it keeps doing is
restarting. I can use it for 2-3 hours then it shuts off without notice. I
cleaned inside, I did system recovery. It is still doing it. TEMP 37deg C.

I have all the required hardware and checked this through the MS Vista sites
But the real question is:
Would it be best to Purchase  Vista upgrade and dual install it, thus

I prefer to see the "thumbnails" view  in folders but when I "right
click/save picture as "  after opening an image  and open a folder to
save it in it gives me the "list" view and I don't want that .
How can I get folders to always have the thumbnails view .
