The Icons I have on my Desktop (Word, Excel, PP, etc) are show as the colour
white in no box.

Suddenly, when I use regedit to search for anything, XP Home (SP1) is

When XP Home asks if you want others to be able to read your files,
is it asking about encrypting the disk, or just setting permissions
(or whatever the windows equivalent is) to ``read'' for others?

I use Mozilla Firefox and Thunderbird. I have done something which has
resulted in the normal fonts used in emails etc being replaced by some
uncial font which I downloaded and used without problem months ago. I
cannot find Courier in my Fonts and don't know what to do.

I have a few files here with .m4v extensions.  The VLC media player works
great to open and view them.  However, when I try to set up the file
