I had to reinstall everything on my DELL 9151. The Icons I have on my Desktop (Word, Excel, PP, etc) are show as the colour white in no box. Before my reinstallation I had the Icon words white in a blue box.

The following error shows in my system Error Log at every boot-up:- "The %OWC_USBEHCD.DeviceDesc% service failed to start due to the following error: The service cannot be started, either because it is disabled or because it has no enabled devices associated with it."

Suddenly, when I use regedit to search for anything, XP Home (SP1) is rebooting itself after 10-20 seconds into the search. Just a black screen and a reboot. Every time. I'm not sure whether this is related to either

When XP Home asks if you want others to be able to read your files, is it asking about encrypting the disk, or just setting permissions (or whatever the windows equivalent is) to ``read'' for others?

I use Mozilla Firefox and Thunderbird. I have done something which has resulted in the normal fonts used in emails etc being replaced by some uncial font which I downloaded and used without problem months ago. I cannot find Courier in my Fonts and don't know what to do.
