On my old WinXP computer, when I try to boot it up with only minimal devices
attached to it and as little PCI cards as possible, I get a grey progress bar
running across the screen. After it fills up, the computer does nothing at
all.  this happens when the Windows XP loading ...

When I make any changes to the options on the various tabs within Internet
Options the program will make the changes, but it will then freeze with the
error message (program not responding).  It will not return me to IE... the
cursor changes to the hourglass, or the sliding ...

I am using Windows XP Home with Internet Explorer and Mozilla Firefox as
browsers. Each time I try to open a web page in the search menu the site
jumps to some type of advertisement an does not go to the subject I asked

I keep getting a pop up that says Documents :  Documents has encountered a
problem and needs to close then u can send a report or just close it.
I have gone and cleaned up everything I can but it still keeps popping up.

Whenever I try to open My Computer (or anything else where it will show
access to all of my drives) Windows displays the animated flashlight for
searching and it takes forever to show the contents of My Computer. Any ideas
