in the list of installed programs, i can see "Microsoft .NET Framework 1.1". when i try to uninstall it i get a message "this action is only valid for products that are currently installed". how do i get rid of this ?

I just built a new PC and installed windows XP pro on it and everything is fine until i update it via windows update and i only install the security updates and upon reboot the PC gets to the Logo screen then flashes something way to fast to read and reboots... and keeps doing ...
