How can I prevent my pupils from altering the desktop and prevent them from

in the list of installed programs, i can see "Microsoft .NET Framework 1.1".
when i try to uninstall it i get a message "this action is only valid for

Everytime I try to boot up, I get returned to boot up screen. When I go to f8
