About 4 days ago, I burned a dvd slide show and added a music sound track. Ever since I did that I do not have any audio. I can't play music either using songs in my hard drive or using a cd or DVD on one of my drives.

VERY RANDOMLY and SPORADIC, when I start my system the DESKTOP doesn't appear? It has happened maybe 3 times in the last 2 weeks? That is out of about 25 boots from the cold state, not reboots (never has happened on these) after it is running.
