i have window xp and my screensaver wont come on when i am done with my
computer i have it set for 5mins and nothing happen i had it look at but the
guy said it had some thing with the registy if anybody can help me please

I think I may have either fried the CPU, the motherboard or the
graphics unit on my laptop because now when I turn it on, the power
goes through the laptop but there is not even the single BEEP, and
absolutely nothing comes onto the screen. The fan comes on and goes

Two Issues:
First, I loaded the SP2 for XP for Pros from IT Prof site.  Appeared to load

Hi everybody, I've just done a major clean up ( perhaps to good a clean up as
I needed to system restore right after) but anyways now using my lap top I
have a window installer program running for an unspecified file and it always
says "Preparing to install"  and when I cancel ...

I keep getting a runtime error message from various programs saying 'r6025 -
pure virtual function call' - I click ok and the program closes, but now
there are half a dozen programs that close every time I try to use them.

I can't seem to get msn messenger to log me in but I can access my hotmail
