The resolution "slide bar" won't move!
In other words, we can't increase the resolution and it says it's on the
"default monitor" settings.
This started yesterday when after switching the computer off it restarted

Just finished fresh format and install of everything on my system. Right from
first boot into windows... . Up pops the folder "system32" How can i change
the settings of the system32 Folder so it doesn't open when Windows XP Home
SP2 initializes? Each time i boot "up it comes ...

HelpAssistant and Search have been disabled on my laptop. I believe I may
have done it when following instructions on how to speed up my computer
several months ago. Now, I need to be able to use those functions and can't.
I've reinstalled the software but still can't use these ...

I use windows XP to login to my work computer from home, using my
company's laptop.
The process of scrolling is extremely slow.  If I press an arrow to go
downwards, I see a response about 7 seconds later or so.

After my computer was updated with the new service pack and ie7 I began
having problems printing to my epson cx6400. it will upon a fresh reboot
generally print 1 page before acting up but not always. I get a few lines of
the document I try to print with the rest of the page ...

I have a notebook with a touchpad, it had virtual scrolling but some how it

I've been trying to find some information on a subject that recently has been
troubling. When i try to uninstall or install any program from my XP Pro SP2
machine under administration it will always give me an error saying windows
installer is corrupt and can;t continue. I can;t ...

Even though I applied KB 921883 daylight savings patches to all machines in
my network, I've got several that keep reverting back an hour.
There's nothing obvious in the event viewer for any of these machines, virus
software is up to date, all servers in sync with the correct time ...

In the last month XP Pro boots extremely slow. I have done the following
to remedy it.
1. Ran Spywear scans using all the recommended software and nothing was
found.

I have a fully updated XP Pro SP2 system that acts strangely when
going into standby & hibernate.
I can successfully put the system into either standby or hibernate
with Start, Turn off the Computer, Standby (or Shift for Hibernate).

My computer will not boot to windows it boots right to the following options,
Safe Mode, Safe Mode with Networking, Last Know Good... Command Prompt and
Normal. I tried selecting all of these and XP home would not boot no matter
what I selected. Every time I tryed it will go into ...

How do I type a directory or filename with spaces into the command line
For example
cd C:\Documents and Settings\Space File.txt
