I've got Windows XP and just increased my memory to 512mb. The current
updates are taking forever--I'm on Day 3! Plus, my screen saver (moving
polygons) hardly moves. Any suggestions? Thanks.

I've got a hard drive that has some sectors that are starting to go

What is the easiest way to figure out what data, and especially which

I use windows XP to login to my work computer from home, using my
company's laptop.
The process of scrolling is extremely slow.  If I press an arrow to go
downwards, I see a response about 7 seconds later or so.

In XP Professional SP2 I no longer see my personal folder in "My Computer". I
used to see both mine and the other user (Both are administrators) and now I
only see the shared folder and that of the other user.

can sumone plz have a look at this hijack log 4 me iv gt a problem with

I used to be able to switch users, but I no longer can.  I discovered that
this is because the Terminal Services service is not running.  When I try to
start it, I get the following 3 messages in the system event log:

I noticed on the security log of access denied for PID 200 listening to
external traffic
The process is listed as svchost.exe.   how do go about what is running it?
