Hi, I have been trying to reinstall winxp but I cannot get it to able to sort it out. I have set the first boot device to CD-ROM but when I press space key WinXP opens up the usual way. I have been trying this on & off all day & it's doing my head in.

I have a system alert that came with spyware. I removed the spyware but I can't remove the system alert. Its on the add/remove list but when I click remove nothing happens. Please help me!!

I'm trying to install an updated version of CA Firewall, but I'm getting a message telling me I don't have sufficient privileges to install software. It suggests logging in as an Administrator, but I already am. Does anyone have a suggestion? I'm running XP Home.
