Hello, I really hope one of you can help...
My desktop PC has suddenly developed a niggling little problem that
means it is all but useless now.  When opening most programs, IE,
Windows Explorer and Opera the screen gets caught in a juddering motion

This afternoon, my PC froze up and won't power down (with no screen display).
The scenario:
This morning, I'd boot again, then during the Win load, it started to
re-boot then froze again in the process. Couldn't CTL, ALT, DEL (twice) to

On one of my XP PCs, when sutting down, the Standby option is greyed
out. I really don't use that, but I'm just wondering why it's not an
option, unlike on my other XP PCs.

I'm sorry.  My hard drive is not completely gone.  My live tv freezes after
about a minute.  Diagnostics (and Sony support) says the hard drive is 'going
out' and they are replacing it in a few days.  Everything else, internet,

I created a new folder in MyPictures and moved several existing folders into
it. Now I can't open those folders "access is denied". Anyone know what to
