When I insert a cd or dvd into my drive, the autorun window pos up and
asks: What do you want Windows to do?  Play dvd movie using Windows Media
Player, Play dvd movie using Sonic CinePlayer, among several other choices.
How can I edit those choices? There is one I'd like to add ...

I have a gateway computer with windows xp media, center edition 2002,
service pack2.  Recently I've started getting a message pop up when I
turn the computer on - following is what the message says:
The system DLL user 32.dll was relocated in memory.  The application

install disk, selecting repair).  When I make the attempt it asks for the
administrator password.  When I type in the password I use to start windows,
it claims it is the wrong password.

I Have 50 PCs on my subnet that I manage.
Aprox 3 weeks ago a user complained he could not hear sound through

Hi, i've just reformatted and reloaded XP for a friend on their laptop.  
Everything was fine until SP2 was downloaded and installed.  Now i seem to

Problem:
This occurs to any process. I will be using my computer and then a
process (most commonly the active one, which is most of the time
firefox.exe but not always) would spike to 50% of the CPU and stop

I have a piece of software installed which will not unistall using either
'remove software' from the control panel, or by deleting components in
explorer.
How can I remove this program?

I have recently purchased a motorbike computer that requires connecting to
the PC using an RS232 cable into COM port 3 or 4. My laptop hasn't got any
RS232 ports so I bought an RS232 to USB 2.0 cable. Now the software will only
look at COM port 3 or 4.

I have had my Brother HL-1240 hooked up to my XP/ Home puter for a long time,
and suddenly, everything I send to the print queue never makes it there! The

Im at a complete loss on how to fix this.
Cannot print to local or network printers, however can print to software printers like pdf and flashpaper and the
microsoft xps.
Have tried deleting bud files, reinstalling print spooler. Cant find anything on google.
