I did a search in Windows Explorere on a directory that contained C# files
with file extension ".cs". The word I searched for was "Main". The search
program came back with a message "Search is complete. There are no results to
display".  I renamed the ".cs" file to .txt and then ...

At start up I recieve an error message that says    Run a DLL as an APP has
encountered a problem and needs to close.  Does anyone have any idea what

I download Itunes on to my laptop. It took away the sound on my computer, I;m

i have 38 critical updates available and after waiting for ages it starts to
download updates then when it comes to installing them it says 38 updates

Hello, I'm having all sorts of problems with my pc.  It takes ages before it
opens up anything, it will not connect to certain websites when trying to
download or update antivirus program it just cannot connect to server even
though I have no problem accessing internet explorer, ...

it seems that my fucntion key has totally stopped working for any and all
functions what could it possibly be

I noticed my computer was running a little slow, and, without reading, i set
my computer to diagnostics boot and followed it with an error check.  Now, my
PC is stuck in a "safe Mode" sort of mode where I can not use the internet,
can not adjust any sort of settings and programs ...

Three days ago my pc slowed down considerably, along with a lot of hard
drive activity,I mean I could hardly get the mouse pointer to move accross
the screen.

Help, I have a dos based program I use daily.  Ithink this is causingmy
computer no to log off or shutdown.  I vaguely remember having to tick a box
to close on exit back in Win98 years ago to resolve a similar issue.  Please

Im always getting Application Error cant find out whats doing it. It will
shut down internet explorer and take me back to desktop. I have all the
critical updates for win xp.

WinXP Pro SP2, all updates installed
Norton Antivirus installed, full scan found no problems
When I tried to backup my drives using Ghost it failed.  I then ran
Norton Disk Doctor (NDD) and my drives failed "Security Descriptors"

My computer is saying that my sound card is my modem and will not let me
change it. I am running XP SP2. I can play some movies but have no system
sounds or flash etc.
HELP - I have tried reloading the soundcard drivers etc - The Device manager

To back up my files, I save them on CDs. Some CDs now have hundreds of
files. My PC on which these files were kept in Folders in My Documents
cannot be started, so I am getting a replacement PC. Is there a way of
making transfers of ALL the files in one go from a CD into a folder ...
