You know how the volume control on an old radio crackles when you change
the volume? Well, my Windows XP seems to be on the "olde radio" category
- when I move the volume slider up and down I get crackles, but only
from the left-hand speaker.

I have another problem since restoring windows xp home.....
The display is very 'jumpy'. Scrolling on webpages and moving webpage
are all affected. Why could this be? The graphics card is an AT
Mobility Radeon 9000 IGP apparantly if this helps.

How do you consolidate free space on disk using Disk Defragmenter located in

I have a user that uses windows xp professional. User forgot password to
domain, I reset it and ever since she logged in again, her applications
doesn't minimize to the taskbar.

I accidently changed a file to open with a different application, and now I
need to change it back so that it's an unknown file. I've gone through the
"Properties" section, but there doesn't seem to be an option that lets you go
back, or select "unknown".
