Some form of spyware completely messed up my computer, and I'm having
troubles fixing it. I have Windows XP with service pack 2 installed,

My system was working fine yesterday. Since last night, when I start my PC

To solve some nagging registry/performance issues, I took a blunt instrument
approach and simply did a reinstall of XP.  Mostly everything turned out

I'm using my wifes laptop downloading a file when suddenly the machine
starts to go into hibernation.  I know how to turn the hibernation
feature off but surely this should not be necessary?  Is there any way

I am about to give my old pc to my niece. I have used the 'destructive'
system restore option to return the pc to its factory condition, but I
understand that my personal files are not necessarily erased permanently,

My son hit some keys and now my display is sideways, where the top is on the
right hand side of the monitor, and the left side at the top.  i cannot find
the shortcut keys to switch back the display.. i tried everything under
