I have Windows XP and I am trying to delete a limited user account, the Guest Account is turned on also. When I try to delete the limited user account my computer freezes up and says "Not Responding" Is there something that I am doing wrong....please help.

I am using Windows XP Recovery Console to confirm that my hard disk or file system is not damaged. I am prompted to hit R to repair the installation. Can anyone tell me whether I will lose data on the hard disk by doing this?

I need help, I have two computers that run at 100% CPU while automatic update service is running. If I stop the service the PC will run normally. Has anyone seen this before? The two processes that cause the 100% are svchost.exe and wuauclt.exe.

How does one know when to give Active X permission to run? I don't know how it happened but after installing FireFox I get a message on each site asking if I want Active X to run. I have read both "yes" and "no" on whether to allow it.
