My daughter-in-law's computer quit working so she went and bought a new
laptop.
I took the hard drive out and installed it on my computer so I could at
least save all the pictures that she had on it.

I edited the registry to stop a pop up reminder.  Company even sent me the
"file" to run.  However, the changes don't stay.  Any idea on what could be
causing the changes to revert back.  All I'm doing is changing the line from
a (1) to a (0).

I tried to restore files from 9 floppy disks that were done in backup the
first 4 were fine but when it gets to the 5th one it states not found or not
formatted what can I do to fix this am I also able to restore the following
