On a laptop running XP Pro SP2, I went to install MS Streets & Trips 2006.  I

Hi there I have probs with connecting my old 8gb seagate ide hard drive, i
hav it in an usb 2 enclosure, but when connected, devices found comes up on
icons tray, and loads the drivers, but it wont display the device anywhere, I
dont have this prob with a newer maxtor 80GB one ...

I'm trying to upgrade an HP Pavilion 552W which has XP Home on it to
XP Pro. Unfortunately, the upgrade CD is giving me a compatibility
warning as follows:

How do I get the taskbar to retain past sites.  When I go to the next site,

In some lists of files the icon is present (greyed out like a hidden file)
and title is missing.  When I click on it the title it appears - as if the
font color was white. So, it is there and then it is not.  Happens for on
notepad, data base, and some but not all PDF.
