Since my message of 11 Ap 2007 (excerpt below) I have noticed the
following:
I get many fewer XP freezes with 100% CPU usage when using FireFox than
MSIE. The freezes I get with FireFox running occur when the search

I dont really know why my windows xp home is running very slow i just
formated my computer and installed windows. after i updated everything
installed all the drivers and it gets really slow and some programs i cant

I was removing some old programs from my laptop, by using "My Computer"
- Add/Remove Programs, but now, the option to remove programs has
disappeared. When I click on "my computer", and then "Add/Remove
Programs", the list is populated, but the box on the right side that

I was putting xp on my girlfriends laptop and it crashed half way through,
now when i turn it on it trys to start part way through but i need it to
start at the beginning, how can i get it to start from the beginning?

I have looked all over the internet for a real solution. Seems this is a
prevalent bug that's never been fix. Is there a solution I have not found?
I did notice one quick reset...go to Start-->Turn Off Computer--->Cancel.
The Tool Tips will correctly display again by mousing over ...

my pc base unit keeps shutting down without no command to do so
it just cuts out.

I'm not sure WHAT I did to my computer, but now my computer doesn't recognize
either the D or E drives.  I don't know what to do!  Can anyone help?

I TRY TO OPEN A 360 SHARE A PROGRAM BUT IT WONT OPEN

Hi:   Running WXP SP2 on a Dell Dimension Desk top.  Shutdown last night
everything ok.   Started up this morning and the system goes through the
normal boot, gets to loading personal settings and then clicks off and
reboots.

I downloaded WinZip 11.1 version successfully, found the Folder transferred
it to Desktop, but when I click on it "Open" to install it I am presented
with three files instead. I failed to find any information on installation
on the appropriate web. Can anyone please advise me how ...

I am trying to unistall Quicken and then reinstall it because I am having
trouble opening my Quicken file.  When I click the remove button I get this
message "Fatal error occured during installation".  How can I remove it now?

I just installed Java TM se runtime environment 6, update 11.
Should I delete the entries prior to the newest(6, update 1) or leave as is?
