my son was playing with my computer and has managed to change my display
screen to view horizontaly instead of vertically. Can anyone help me to
restore my screen back to a vertical view?

I recently updated to service pack 2 on my Compaq machine. Not sure of this
has anything to do with my problem or not.
When I turn it on and after it boots up my screen will go blank. It happens
about 30 seconds after it boots up..I will see the desktop then it goes blank

When I try to repair my XP system , the following blue screen error message
appears half way through the installation

Am trying to reinstall/repair XP Home on my computer via the CD..
The process starts, gets to 35mins left and a blue scren with the following
mesage appears
" a problem has ben detctected and windows has been shut down"

After recent security updates installed on 5/9/07, lost my printing
capabilities.  Tried to reinstall printer but unable to.  Got error message

i was doin sumptin to my computer last night and now i cant see what programs
are running on the task bar so when i minimize them i have to go through the
task manager to get them back on the screen, anyone have an idea of what
happened and how i fix it?

when i put the memory card into my computer, it usually opens automatically,
or i go in through My Computer. now, it doesnt open and i dont have the
option through My computer (none of the removable storage drives are there...
they are usually a letter ie. "G".)

I had two hard drives in my computer.  Primary drive held Windows XP and all
the program/application files.  Secondary drive held the My Documents files
(pictures, music, documents, e-mails, etc).
My primary drive crashed and I have since replaced it with a new one and

I just tried to use the restore disk to wipe everything off my system and
start again but although I've followed the instructions letter for letter
quite a few times my computer either isn't reading the disk or just not
responding to it.
