I load windowsXP on a partition of a disk that had no OS. However I an unable to open file on the ither partitions. Error received Access denied. I tried takin ownership as admin files and changing security attributes for folder but files still locked.

When I try to delete a document in XP it shows back up in documents as a copy, then I delete that copy and it shows back up as copy 2. I have run ad-aware, scanned with Norton Antivirus and found no problems and I am about to throw a brick at the box!!
