I recently upgraded to Genuine XP Pro w/SP2 I have an older Dell
Latitude with 256RAM 12G Hard drive.
I have tried to reinstall Civilization 3 on my computer but the CD
runs but does not install  and will not launch and I get the message:

I've just restored my pc to factory settings and noticed that when i'm on the
'all programs' list i right click and press open/explore nothing happens,
even though i'm expecting windows explorer to open.

I tired installing Prince of Persia Sands of Time on my Pentium 3
computer and half way through the installing an error comes on and it
says Common File Error, Data Error:data2.cab and Error( cyclic
redundancy check). How can I fix the cyclic redundancy error problem?

I can not change my screen resolution When I go to properties click on
settings it will not let me move the resolution bar

after editing "htky -current user -microsoft-etc-run" and deleting unwanted
keys when I reboot they get rewritten to the registry, things like
"googletoolbar notification" etc. It is very annoying. Help anyone?

Let me try keep to this simple & to the point :)
On attempting to uninstall Dreamweaver MX I got an error that I was missing
the Ctor.dll file.... I have managed to download that file...  then on re
attempting uninstall I got a new error from InstallShield Wizard:

XP Home always offers to "make your pictures smaller" when you click to send
them by e-mail.  Mine has suddenly stopped doing so.   When I click to e-mail
a picture it goes straight into an e-mail message without being reduced.  I
have no idea how to correct this (or what caused ...

I am receiving intermittent stop messages on my pc. The pc shuts down  & I
have to manually restart. The messages are varied, I can list them if
required. The system indicates that stopping bios caching or shadowing may
assist, but I am unsure how to do this ?
