2 days ago I tried to right-click on Internet Explorer to see the properties
in order to delete the history. I was unable to open up the properties. Since
then, other weird stuff is happening and I my IE connection keeps getting
hung up, I keep having to manually shut down the ...

I find Media Player Classic does everything I need on my PC, but I cannot
Associate MPC with files as WMP9 always takes over again.

Error message when accessing Mshome in "My Network Places"20 May 2007 05:10 GMT3
I am using Win'XP Home.
When I try to open the Mshome directory in "My Network Places" I get the
error message:
"Mshome is not accessible.  You might not have permission to use this

Have XP Home pre-installed with SP2 and all later updates, (with a
"recovery" disk, not a full system disk).
PROBLEM - cannot open CHM documents "unable to display" window.
Searched on MS Knowledgebase - says the Help file is missing or corrupt,

I installed a new motherboard on my kids computer and am trying to do a clean
install of XP.  When I boot from the XP installation CD I get the following

I did a very stupid user trick and I'm hoping that someone can help me
out.
On the C:\ root drive, I have a folder created with numbers and letters
but not a readable folder.  This folder contains one file called

For a while now my computer has been experiencing system freezes where the

Restoration Incomplete messages keep occurring. Turned SR off, then on and it
didn't work. Is there something I can do from the command line or in the
system to repair it. I'm running XP Home Service pack 2.

I suspect from the common service in Xp that manage the color printing is
corrupted. (If is implemented in this way).The problem is that i dont know

Hi I get a NSIS error every time I close Internet Explorer.  It ststes that
"The installer you are trying to use is corrupted or incomplete. This could
be the result of a damaged disk, a failed download or a virus"

On XP SP2, update failed last night.  I just kept going and going for the
longest time, finally ending with an error message.  Now Internet Explorer
won't respond at all!  This happened on two PCs.  Both failed update, neither
can reach the Internet now.  Help!

Heres one for you, The lap top audio is fine thru internal speakers, but will
not accept any external headphones. Plug them in and the intrnal speakers do
not even cut out. All used to work fine!!
