Building a new system and have an unpartitioned 320gb hard drive with
troubles installing winxp-pro. Used Bart's PE Builder to get a windows
environment, since my WinXp-Pro disc is not bootable, but error message
comes up when running winnt32.exe that no valid partition is present ...

I am sick of getting different spyware and adware viruses on my pc I do get
rid of them but somehow something else gets in.  I need some advise on what
to down load to keep everything out. I have mcafee but some spyware always
manages to creep past it.

Upon turning on the computer, there is a screen which has a
"OS2 Warp" logo.
This screen comps up just before the "Welcome" Screen.
Apparently it is from a downloaded logo changing screen of some type.

We have no color red in our monitor display at all, it does not appear in the
choices when trying to switch colors and it is now very annoying and at times
impossible to see certain web pages correctly now.  Anyone have any ideas?  
We don't know where our red went!

I have disconnected and removed my old C:\ drive
I have  installed a new hard drive and connected the cables
I have partitioned the new hard drive and formatted the disk (in that order)
(Shoud I have formatted the drive before creating the partition?)

UPS unexpectantly shut down system and when I rebooted the programs folder in
start menu is now empty, options in start menu above programs (open word
document, new word document, windows update etc are gone. When I go thru "my
computer" I still see my programs.

I have an HP Photosmart 3210 all in one printer which has a memory card
reader in it, the printer is on my home network works good with the 2 pc's
onthe network the problem is when you try and read or look at the memory card

I have few DVD discs that when I insert them in my computer nothing
happend.  I tells me there is no disc on the drive or some times that
the disc is not supported.  This does not happend on all my DVDs,

Almost three weeks ago, when I turned on my PC, my desktop icons and task bar

drivers then download my upgrades from microsoft web sit either the service
pack 2 removed my mixer or one of the 47 other downloads took me out has any
