I goto Offer Remote Assistance in XP SP2, type in the computer name I wish to connect to, click conect. I then choose the user I wish to connect to, and click Start Remte Assistance.

How can I find out which programmes are loaded when I start up my PC. And is there a list of programmes that are needed for Windows XP to run. When I find the list can I delete the programmes that are not needed at startup?

I switch on in the morning and let AVG do its thing. But its taking longer than it used to, just at the very time I need to send an urgent email for example. MSConfig/Start Up shows four checked items.

I have 2 XP Pro machines on a network through a hub. A can see and access My Documents on the B, but B can see My Documents on the A but can't open the folder (error message saying \\A\My Documents is not sccessible)
