I get a system error after each time that I boot stating that: The SAVRTPEL service failed to start due to the following error: The system can't find the file specified. Can anybody help me please to fix this problem? The "Autoruns" does not show this service.

Does anyone know how I can debug this? It's annoying to do System Restore every time in order to use XP. BTW, I do this System Restore in Safe Mode which does reboot right after by itself. However, this automated reboot by System Restore works fine, why not normal reboot/

When I download anything, it all goes into Temporary folders. Iv changed the settings in internet options (genaral) but nothing seems to help. Has any one got any ideas as its driving me nuts. Cheers

Just noticed that I have both Microsoft TCP/IP V6 and Internet Protocol (TCP/IP) showing in network settings. Is this (a) normal, and (b) likely to cause a conflict ? (XP Pro machines) Should I remove one or the other?
