Am trying to install a program but I keep getting the following
message:
*Error 1406 - Could not write value AppInit_DLLs to
key\software\microsoft\windows NT\Current

My Windows XP Home machine (Toshiba Satellite) reboots periodically
and for no apparent reason.  I checked the error log, and the Fatal
Error that comes up is:
Error code 1000000a, parameter1 9914a644, parameter2 00000002,

I have an issue where I get a script error in IE that starts out with
"Wrong
number of argumnets" and then progresses from there as I elect to
continue running scripts on this page. I have eliminated firewall,

this pops up on my computer all the time when i turn it on it says: The
instruction at 0x6600accc referenced at 0x6600accc the memory could not be
read. what do i do to fix this error? help!

Hi all, can some one please help. When I download a music file, the file
automaticly goes in to some "tempoary folder". I cant work out what is going
on and cant find any temp folder.
It would be awsome if someone knows what is going on because I don't LoL

The software is installed and runs without any problem, but the above error
message appears multiple times at start-up / user loggin.

When i try to select a wallpaper the preview screen is just blank and i
cannot scroll through the wallpapers. My Desktop is just plain blue. If i
right click a pic and click set as background that wont work either. Doesnt
anyone know how to fix this please???????

I can not install any software on my PC because the Windows Installer is
corrupted. The PC is running Windows XP Pro SP2 with all the latest updates
and patches.
Here are the messages from the Windows Installer.

For the last month, every time I open a Word document, I get a wlf.ini folder
created in the same directory. Why? It says it's a "configuration setting"
but for what? It never used to happen. I've got hundreds of them now!
