Windows 98 had a file viewer(\QUIKVIEW.EXE) that I put in the sendto menu.
Does windowsxp have such a viewer?
Can the old \QUIKVIEW.EXE be used and how. (I tried to just copy the program

Outlook Express on my firehouse computer will not send mail using the
Group function.  Mail can only be sent by individual, but not by Group.
I checked my home pc and it works fine with Groups.
Can anyone point me in the right direction to get Groups to work in OE?

There is no icon in my Control Panel for Network Connections. When I right
click on the connections icon on the task bar and then click Network

I would be grateful for any help with this annoying little problem Everytime
windows starts I get the message...

Hibernation and/or Standby will self start windows after hibernating for
about 3 seconds, any help would be greatly appreciated. Step by step help
would help.

I always thought a fresh install wiped the hard drive clean.  Specifically,
that ALL data would be lost.
I've just done a reinstall, having booted from the CD and choosing "L" to

Hi - I'm trying to capture video from a mini-DV Canon camcorder using
my year-old Compaq Presario laptop with XP, 512 megs of RAM (at
least). Moviemaker recognizes the camcorder connection (via Firewire)

I am getting a black screen after loading Windows XP logo at the boot. Safe
mode and "Directory Service Restore Mode" work fine.
I wonder why "Directory Service Restore Mode" works and the "normal mode"
doesnt, any idea? What´s the difference between booting in normal mode and
