Too many programmes open automatically when i start windows.Like Quicktime
etc.How do i disable these so i can open them manually when i actually need
them?

I can hear others online while using Yahoo Messenger. But they can't hear
me.
In the control panel, Speech icon option has only one tab "Text to Speech".

I keep freezing completely. No keyboard, mouse or anything. I have to unplug
the computer completely. I havent installed anything new or made any changes

Starting two days ago, no programme will open when I reboot. Everything works
perfectly in safe mode but after rebooting background programmes seem to load
forever and then the tray locks up sometimes, sometimes not.....Occasionally
outlook or IE will open after say ten minutes ...

I have a scheduled job that runs a command file that is supposed to copy all new and updated files
from a partition on my hard drive to network drive.  The command I use is:
XCOPY "I:\*.*" "N:\INSTALL\" /D /E /V /C /I /Y >> C:\Build\Backup\BackupBuild.log

According to the S.M.A.R.T. Stats my drive is in VERY GOOD shape.
But the Drive makes noises that are a sign of failure soon.
