What does it mean when I get an error messege saying "The instuction at
"0x7c919902" referenced memory at "0x76ce1e44". The required data was not
placed into memory because of an 1/0 error status of "0xc000009c""

I wiped my hard drive and now I don't have some if the previous components. I
am missing small things like paint, solitaire, the calculator, etc. If anyone
knows why and if there is anything I can do to get them back please let me
know.

       A friend tried to upgrade widows media player from V9 to V10;
the upgrade went wrong somehow and as a result media player wouldn't
work and her computer was running very, very slowly.
That was all she could tell me.  I had a look and on 'add/delete

I uninstalled Norton IS 2005 with their removal tool from the Symantec
site. It seemed to do a good job and all was well.However, my "Windows
Security Center" still says "NortonInternet Security is currenlty ON."
Why would it still say Norton IS is ON when it's not even installed?

analyze in maintenence program it said files should be defragmented. upon
completion the report said files could not be defragmented \documents and
