Boot.ini problem... Repair Install on Windows XP11 May 2007 15:33 GMT1
Hello,  I have experienced this problem years ago (missing / corrupt boot.ini
file) and a simple repair install helped me get Xp up and running..... Here
is the kicker...
When I boot from my Windows Xp CD, I hit enter to install, press F8 to

Hi, in my laptop i installed VISTA in C: Drive first andthen i installed XP
in D: Drive when i reboot the laptop and then select the XP os it will give
the message like windowds failed to start "ntldr" and  "Status :0xc000000f"  
its giving like that what is the problem, but VISTA ...

This doesn't happen on all sites and it may not happen immediately but when
it does happen I have to hit Ctrl+Alt+Delete to get out of it.  Any
suggestions?

After loading a disc I can play a game for about 10 minutes and then my
laptop shuts down. Anyone got any ideas as to how I can fix this?

Had to reinstall Windows XP and now all of a sudden the monitor goes

I log in locally the cd autorun feature works perfectly, but when i
log in with the Remote Desktop Connection when a cd is inserted
nothing happened, even if it was the same cd, so basically i have
narrowed it down to using the computer remotely, is there a setting to

I used top be able to copy files to CD by using CD Writing Wizard in Windows
XP.  I installed some software, which apparently took over that function
(Sonic DLA).  I then removed Sonic DLA, and now the CD Writing Wizard does

When I try to launch Restore, I get an error "System Restore application has
encountered a problem and needs to close. We are truly sorry for the
inconvenience." Wow MS truly is sorry.

I am having trouble getting to one web site that i want to go on. I've tried
using IE and Firefox, but evertime it says that it had problems loading the
page. I have found another site that lets me access the site through them.
