on the front of my pc there are 2 usb ports (which work) and headphone + mic
inputs. however, the latter 2 do not seem to work.

I already have anti-virus and anti-spyware programs installed in my PC
and some of them have real-time scanners (especially I have just
bought the one-year subscription on AVG Anti-Virus Professional).  I
also have Windows Defender installed.  And I have been using Windows

recently ran chkdsk and it won't proceed beyond the end of stage 1

I have PC with installed German version of XP Profesional, would like to
change version to English language. How to do that?

I've configured Outlook as the default e-mail program in every place possible
(Internet Options, Start Menu configuration, etc.), and still when I click
Outlook in the Start Menu, the Internet Options open, not Outlook.
