I had a crash with my hard drive and want to know if I will have any problems reinstalling XP Home on another hard drive. I have previously upgraded from 98SE and have all the disks and activation codes. Will there be a problem with microsoft and the activation?

I am attempting to copy and write E-mail to my CD Drive, but the volume of data is too large to write on my CD. I tried to change and write to my DVD Drive, but I am not able to access the data to write to my DVD.

What is the proper way to go about uninstalling and reinstalling the operating system? I would like to wipe my computer and reset everything to its original settings. I'm assuming this will require the software discs that came in the box, which I do have.

I cannot get my IIS component to work. I tried uninstalling and re-installing (that appeared to work okay) but IIS no longer appears as part my computer management / services and applications. What have I missed? Getting frustrated ;-)

I'm running XP SP2 and notice that there are six instances of svchost.exe running when I check in the Windows Task Manager. 3 are shown with the user name 'SYSTEM' 2 are shown with the user 'NETWORK SERVICE'

Just put a new hard drive in my desktop. Using Windows XP on the desktop and Vista on my wireless laptop. No problem with the laptop. It connects through the wireless connection just fine and I can surf all I want.
