Two programs that I use which resize images no longer save the new files on my desktop computer. The same programs work on my laptop. I suspect there is something wrong with the windows system but I have no idea how to track it down.

I installed a wireless router: DIR-655 (Extreme N Gigabite). I keep getting a pop up window on the bottom right of my screen that says: "Windows was unable to find a certificate to log you onto the network (my network name). Could someone tell me what this means?

Why doesn't pressing the Print Screen button capture an image in Windows media player? Is there another way to do this? All I get is a picture of the player with a black (blank) screen.

With about 80 updates now it's getting a right pain to download these everytime I have a hard drive to reformat because they just automatically get installed and I have to go through the process all over again next time. Can I download them and save to a disk instead?

I recently got an older PC from my Mom and she had Windows 98 on it; well I uploaded XP and now I have both operating systems on my PC and it really slows everthing down. I know it has them both because when I start my PC it asks me which system I want to run, XP or 98.
