Why has Windows xp pro made my C: drive be a "removable" device? This
bothers me, it actually is an internal SATA drive.
This is a new computer that I am setting up and everything works it
should, except that the C: drive is thought to be a removable device.

I'm running XP home edition.  I recently had my laptop repaired.  The tech
guy reinstalled windows and for some reason named the user name "TESTER".  
The folder under Documents and settings reflects this.

Every time I open a new window in IE 7 it is a small window.  How can I make
it open full sized or at least larger?

For some reason, my XP Pro box keeps defaulting to 16 bit color when
restarted.  I change it back to 32 bit, but it changes on restart back to 16

sheesh this is frustrating. first the drives door will not open, then after i
get it open, it will not stay shut. it will not read any of my cd's. when i
