days I find that after boot up it is not activated, I can easily activate it
by the usual methods.
The QL folder is in the normal place, with all the shortcut icons.

This message only  appears when I try to use my floppy drive. There is a disk
inserted.
I realize this could mean the drive is shot but I thought I would take a
chance that someone might know of any other causes.

Recently i had  bad virus infect my xp pro and had to have a total
restore,in the process i lost a few programs,The one i miss most was a
photo  program where you could do a custom  size on your pictures and
print it direct from it.

I'm doing a restore for a lady in the village. She has kept her XP disc but
not her label with the 'vital' number on it.
I'm half way through the Windows Restore and it's sitting at the enter
number page... what can I do, how can I find the number - from the disc?

I used to be able to choose from users with pictures and a password.
Now I get a log on for Media Center with a user name filled in and a
