Can't click a link in a message.
I used to be able to click a link in an email and go direct to that site.  Now, when I click a link, nothing happens.

I have had a memory dump after I get a bsod and then text telling me there
was an error.
When it reboots the system is looking for the computers mac address in an
endless search.

Windows Explorer starts up fine. Browses fine. But whenever I click on
a file opened by Windows Media Player, Windows Explores says it must
close. I then have to alt-ctl-del and end Windows Media Player. It can

The name of my CD R/W drive some how changed to the name of a disk that was
in the drive. I went to My Computer clicked on properties of the drive on

I created a second user account on my Windows XP laptop. The new account has
administrator rights, but when I click on IE to get onto the internet it will
not connect to the server.

It's driving me nuts!!!
I've reinstalled the operating system.
Windows, cd rom, harddrive, on board sound......everything!
When I reboot, the system starts up fine, no problems.

I just installed Windows XP Pro on an older computer which had a Windows
2000 Professional operating system. I chose the New Install option rather
then the Upgrade.
Everything worked fine except some of the old Windows 2000 files & folders
