Each time I attempt to manually compact my IE 6 E-mail messages, nothing
happens.  I click on the recommended buttons, but nothing happens.

I changed the user name on a laptop running XP Pro (fully up-to-date) in
'User Management' of 'Control Panel'. Now when the laptop boots up, a
dialog box pops up saying 'Windows could not log you in' and behind that
dialog is a grayed-out user login dialog with the old name in it ...

Just for the record, I installed the latest 5 malicious updates,
which did their usual trick of switching ON the monitoring of my
external USB disc from my setting of OFF. I don't suppose
they'll ever learn how to install updates properly.
