Ho,
I have upgraded my XP Pro to a later copy of it with SP2 and it installed okay
but when I came to the 2nd XP logo screen, I get a quick flash of the blue
screen and it goes to reboot again.

office network I have set up uses a peer to peer wired/wireless

Can't uninstall programs using Add/Remove Programs20 Jun 2007 06:25 GMT8
I recently noticed that I can't uninstall most of the programs listed
in the
Add/Remove Programs list in the control panel. I can't uninstall them
because the Remove button does not appear for those programs.

I've formatted my system and loaded Windows XP Home and all is working fine
with no errors in device manager.
Problem I have is with sound.  I'm using on board sound and it is working
however the volume is very low.

bought a new hp printer 5400 and when I installed the usb cable I got an

I did have some of the folders hidden but now their back and I don't
remember what I did to set it.  I'm talking about the system volume,
recycler,boot.ini etc folders that can be hidden.  How do I do that?

Have a problem with Norton AV 2007 with errors coming up even in safe mode.

My daughter wants to do a Repair or a Clean Re-install but when she puts in
the original Windows XP CD's the system tells her that the present system is
more up to date than the CD's and stops the installation.
How should she proceed other than a total re-format?

Has anyone else having this problem lately?  It doesnt matter which of
the two servers I use.  I sometimes have to try 5 or 6x to get it to
sychronize.
