Today my printing coming out odd, when I print something from ThePrintshop22,
lines print like steps, in 1/2 inch increments, a lines width up and down and
the text is up and down also. When I printed from Word2003 it looked like it
is printing twice so it looked like a shadow.

We have a box with XP Pro build 2600 (one of the first versions) and now I want
to upgrade to the latest XP with the SP1 and 2 in it.
I have many programs and do want want to have to waste hours reinstalling
everything unless I have to.

I have repeatedly tried to upgrade to SP2. The download is fine about halfway
through the installation I get a box with a red x saying "Access Denied".

When I go into Control Program and to Add/Remove Programs, the icons are not
there!  When I click on a program, it does not give me the option of removing
it.  All of that disappeared this morning and there are additional items on
the list now too.  Stuff I've never seen.  HELP!  ...

PC is a client on a domain. Running XP SP2. When logged on as a user, I
cannot create desktop shortcuts either through the conetxt menu New Shortcut,
or through right-click Send to...  At the point of selecting the shortcut
destination, I'm taken back to the desktop.
