Hello!  My Windows XP SP2 based PC has a problem for which I've not yet found
an answer (and I've been researching this for a while).
When I add a contact in Outlook with a phone number, I'm prompted to enter a

When I run cmd.exe the DOS prompt that shows up is in the form c:\documents
and settings\charlie.
The sort of things that I want to run such as ipconfig, ping, etc. are in
c:\windows\system32.

For some reason i cannot get to see videos on some sites using ie7.
I just see a blank white box where the video content should be, with an icon
in the top left of the box.
The icon has a red square, and a blue circle and triangle in it.

Can anyone tell me how I can put a digital signature on a file I create?

I have just got a new laptop but i can't use it as when i turn it on up pops
a thankyou note from acer for choosing there product. I can't do a thing
close to hitting it of a wall. Anyone know how to get this off the screen.

I have a Pentium D 830 CPU, and would like to upgrade to Pentium D 940.
Would that require me to re-install Windows XP OS?  Assuming that the
motherboard and chipsets don't need to be replaced.

character map has worked fine till now.  no idea why.  i send the error
report, but there is no additional info provided as how to fix the error.
clicking on character map desktop shortcut produces this popup message:

I no longer have any users on the Welcome screen.  I tried the Ctrl-Alt-Del

When trying to start up windows, it will come up with the loading screen for
xp pro but instead of bringing up the welcome screen and then desktop after
loading is finished, it causes the pc to restart.
Any ideas?
